It is the purpose of the South Carolina News Photographers Association, to advance and promote the craft of photojournalism, and visual story telling throughout the Palmetto State.
The SCNPA encourages photojournalists to uphold a high standard of quality and ethics in the work they produce. Additionally the SCNPA vigorously promotes freedom of the press in all its forms. Our members include photographers, editors, students, and producers, from around the state of South Carolina.
The SCNPA is an accredited member of the National Press Photographer’s Association, and is a member of NPPA Region 6.
